in honour of finishing heartless by gail carriger - a truly delightful book i do not hesitate to recommend to anyone who likes vampires, werewolves, steampunk, victorians, adventures, strong female leads, dry wit, whimsy, parasols, tea, or indeed spectacularly well dressed gentlemen, although obviously you should be starting with soulless, the first book in the series - i’m gently nudging this tumblr back into life with a flood of delicious sartorial fancies from 1874, the year in which heartless is set.
hopefully for both genders, as i am ever so slightly too fond of dear lord akeldama and professor lyall, both of whom i rather want to snuggle to a second death and then take shopping.
